Designing course content and e-Learning that engages people and unlocks their potential, is my happy place.
I have been working within L&D for fourteen years and really enjoy being a part of a person’s development. I am a creative thinker and like to use innovative and bespoke methods when working with SMEs. I have delivered training sessions previously and have also been a subject matter expert, so I think this helps me to cultivate the right digital content to ultimately engage and upskill the learner.
I believe a blended approach of learning always delivers for a great educational experience. For example some eLearning, some animation/video, some workshop, some podcast and some homework. This helps to cover all learning styles and finding out someone’s preference for learning is the key to unlocking potential.
My three core skills would probably be:
Collaboration – getting the best out of every conversation, interaction and meeting.
Engagement – doing my best to ensure that every learner connects with learning.
Creativity – Being a creative thinker has enabled me to produce high quality learning and to work through challenges that have come my way.

Trainer & Learning Designer
Utilising learning theory to design a variety of e-Learning sessions and course content to sit alongside facilitation - using Articulate 360, (Storyline & Rise) & Vyond. Preparing blogs and knowledge articles and delivering a suite of training, including; the organisation’s induction session (alongside the CEO), coaching and mentoring, safeguarding and customer success. Competent in delivering the sessions in person and virtually. I have also written and produced podcasts to compliment the courses.

Managing a caseload of SMEs through an end to end process to create exceptional learning materials.
Developing and designing certified masters online courses via Storyline 360, Rise 360, Adobe and Vyond. Utilising best practice methods (ADDIE) and ensuring rigorous quality assurance.
Building sessions and workshops using the LMS to accommodate a host of different learning styles and formats (on demand, workshop and live sessions).
Editing video, audio and images to compliment learning.
And liaising with marketing, content and events teams to ensure alignment across the business.
Part of an instructional design team with a mission to improve performance and develop new capabilities.
Consulting with stakeholders and providing high level proposals that create effective, valuable solutions for learners.
Working with SMEs to define learning objectives and content for independent sessions and part of a pathway.
Using learning theory and instructional design models to define learning solutions, resources and courses.
